Identifying Challenges

Rescom Construction Identifying Challenges
“One of our most important objectives is to make the process work for building owners and brokers. We would much rather invest the hours of time doing actual due diligence rather than ballparking. We know we can give you what we’ve outlined in our preliminary budget.”
Tyler McKee – CEO Rescom Construction

Thirty-five years of working on upfit and renovation projects in the Upstate means having longstanding relationships with many of the area’s most detail-oriented subcontractors.

So, when we get a request for budget, based on the architect’s test fit, we mobilize immediately, bringing the best-suited subcontractors to walk the site alongside our project management team. Together, we look closely for potential issues that could impact pricing and project turnaround. Then, we create a detailed breakdown for the entire estimate, including our general conditions and project fee.

Being diligent upfront not only minimizes surprises later in the project, it provides a firm foundation for lease pricing. That places building owners and their brokers in a better position to secure the tenant.
